How long is a roof warranty, you might ask. CertainTeed backs its shingles up with a lifetime roof warranty for original residential owners and up to 50 years for original business owners. This insures that your shingle roof will be free from manufacturing defects – with CertainTeed committing to repair, replace, or clean any shingles that are determined to be defective.
SureStart PLUS™ Protection Roof Warranty
Big Anchor’s ShingleMaster certification allows us to also offer the CertainTeed SureStart PLUS Protection. SureStart enhances your regular shingle warranty and provides the strongest non-prorated protection you can get in the vital early years of a new roof’s lifespan. This means the first 10 years of a residential roof and the first 5 years of a commercial roof.
On top of the regular shingle warranty, SureStart PLUS adds coverage for materials and labor required to repair the defective shingles, based on fair market value. For Landmark Pro roofs, the SureStart PLUS program adds coverage for flashings, metal work, tear-off, and disposal.
SureStart PLUS protection are provided without prorating the cost, and is completely transferrable between the original owner and the subsequent owner.
